Memories

My goodness . . . this photo brings back a lot of memories!  It was taken in 1988 - the year Tyler was born.  Mom-mom hired a photographer, and we set up in her back yard.  She had a beautiful back yard full of flowers, trees, vegetable garden - talk about a green thumb!  I believe every one of us girls' dresses was handmade either by mom-mom or mama.

thinking*through*design has a new blog site and their first challenge was to use analogous color on a layout.  I thought this photo would be perfect to use blues and greens.

Here is a link to the challenge on their site:

Supplies used:

Pattern Paper: Colorbok
Cardstock: Bazzill
Twine: MME
Flag Punch: Fiskars
Flowers: Michaels Dollar Bins
Journal Card: MME
Chipboard: ??
Ink: Quick Quotes
Alpha: Colorbok

You did a lovely job with the analogous colors! I love that banner. Love the single bow on the end. So going to do that. Thanks for sharing your color thoughts with us.

Nice work with the analogous colors. The blues and greens provide nice contrast for the beautiful dresses you are all wearing. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with t*t*d!!
