Vegas Baby!!

Donna and Lynda flew out to CA for a week; and we went to Las Vegas for 3 nights. We stayed at MGM and had fun! We went to Hoover Dam, walked the strip, saw "Bodies", and rode the gondolas at the Venetian. And yes, we gambled a little bit too!

Guess Who's Turning 50 Tomorrow???

That's right! 50 years old! He's finally catching up to me!

He's still the most handsome man on earth to me - - - - wouldn't trade him in for two 25-year-olds!

Michele's Baby

Meet Davis! Michele adopted him about 3 weeks ago; however, he was sick and had to stay at the doggy hospital for a week and a half. He had a severe case of pneumonia. Poor baby - he lost weight, wouldn't eat, no energy. We were scared it was parvo or distemper.

He's so much better now. He's put on weight and doesn't look skeletal now! He loves to play and run around in the yard. He also loves to sit in the sun! So cute.

Harley, or Stuart . . . our newest family member!

We haven't decided if it's a Harley or a Stuart, assuming it's a boy, but this little guy was in our pool today. Glenn rescued him from the skimmer! Last week there was a snake in the skimmer but he was dead. Makes me wonder what will be in there next week!

We went to Pet Smart and bought all the necessary stuff for the little guy.

March 2011

It's hard to believe that we are halfway through March . . . lots going on. I haven't been doing a lot of scrapping this month. My one college class is getting the best of me - haha! I have to get back in the groove of reading, studying, tests, etc. It's been an interesting class - we just had our mid-term - I made a B! So that's been taking a lot of my time.

Survivor started again this month. We've been getting together with Kelly, Nelson, Jim and Danielle. We had fondue night last Wednesday - it was FUN!!! Sorry that Jim and Danielle couldn't be with us . . . we'll have to do it again!

Book recommendations:

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

It's a memoir about her life. Some of it is quite eye-opening.

The Island by Elin Hilderbrand

Good book about relationships.

I am currently reading Mrs. Kimble by Jennifer Haigh. Interesting so far . . .

Family

We had a family get-together before Kevin, Tracy and Ethan moved to Las Vegas - dinner at Melody and Jerry's house. Patricia sent us this photo of us - turned out really good. I'd like to enlarge it to either a 5x7 or 8x10 to scrap for our Family Heritage album.
