First layout completed for the Tucson Trip album. I loved the paper - Kersten Scrapbook Collection by Sugartree - I added some Jolee's cacti and flowers on top of the print.

Time Flies

From another challenge on the scrapbooking member board - create a layout that showcases a comparison. You never realize how time flies until you are much older and look back at all the memories that you've shared with family and friends.

I remember the photo of Michele and Tyler in the snow like it was yesterday. It was a Saturday and Glenn had to work, so me, Michele and Tyler went to the local mountains with Glenn's dad and Patricia. The kids had a great time sledding with Grandad, and loved playing in the snow. That's probably where they began their love of snow! And of course, the current photo was from Christmas 2010. They have both grown into kind, generous, loving adults and I'm very proud of both of them.

Wonderful Wednesday

Glenn and I were both off work today; so we hopped on the motorcycle and rode the back way to Ojai for breakfast. Beautiful day for a ride and a great breakfast! We ate at the Ojai Cafe (address is 108 S. Montgomery Street, Ojai, CA - just in case you are in the area).

Time to scrap!

Card Challenge

Here's a card I made for a member board challenge. The challenge was to make a card for one of the non-traditional holidays. I chose National Puzzle Day which is January 29th.


I finished my Valentines Blog Hop project this morning - all of my photos are taken and I'm ready! Can't wait for you to see it!

Projects

Lots of projects lined up! I finished my Georgia Album (visit from August 2010), so besides the Valentine's Blog Hop project, I am now looking at 2 more albums to complete. One is my Nashville trip from April 2009 (I forgot to print out the pictures and just did that a couple of weeks ago!), and the other is our motorcycle trip to Tucson back in October 2010. I have TONS of photos so the hard part will be deciding which ones to scrap!

GETTING READY FOR . . . .

Blog Hop

I'm going to be part of a blog hop! It's a first for me and I'm excited about it. My blog is traditionally about my family, our trips, special occasions, etc. I think I have one entry on here that pertains to my scrapbooking - I posted a layout I did about the house I grew up in titled "The House That Built Me." Song title by Miranda Lambert.

Some members at Club Creating Keepsakes are doing a Valentine's Day Blog Hop and I joined the excitement! The dates are February 11 & 12.
